Your Doctor Doesn't Have The Foggiest Clue When It Comes To Arthritis…

Make Sure You Get Help From Someone Who Does.

More than 97% of all Americans will end up with some form of arthritis at one point or another in their life. The fact is, most family doctors are not trained specifically to diagnose and help you with arthritic problems- and with more than 100 different types of arthritis it is easy to see why. The Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center of Maryland (AOC) specializes in arthritis and related diseases. We can help identify exactly what is wrong and get the proper treatment for you to help ease the pain. Our experience speaks for itself…

The Arthritis and Osteoporosis Center has been serving the Maryland area since 1981. It is well established as a leading medical center specializing in the treatment of arthritis. We have pioneered procedures used in arthritis research such as arthroscopy and magnetic resonance imaging. We were among the first to develop such procedures as:

  • Office-based intravenous regimens for rheumatoid arthritis
  • Office-based epidural blocks
  • Office-based arthroscopy
  • and more

These procedures are used in our facility to help patients with their arthritis problems. Our staff is certified in these procedures as well as the latest intravenous infusion techniques so we can administer the most up-to-date arthritis therapies. We have published more than 60 research articles in the following prestigious medical journals:

  • Annals of Internal Medicine
  • Arthritis and Rheumatism
  • Journal of Clinical Rheumatology
  • Journal of Rheumatology
  • Rheumatology Review
  • Lancet
  • Arthritis Care and Research
  • Journal of the American Medical Association
  • Arthroscopy

In addition to publishing articles AOC has served as reviewers for journals such as Arthritis and Rheumatism, The Journal of Clinical Rheumatology, and Arthroscopy. We help determine what gets published!

AOC is one of fewer than 50 centers across the United States and Canada to be selected for membership in Rheumatology Research International.
