The Arthritis Research Institute and co-sponsors Abbott Laboratories, PriCara, WideOpen MRI, and the Arthritis Foundation will present the third annual Arthritis Symposium at scenic Hollow Creek Golf Club on Thursday, May 15, 2008.  The symposium will feature five nationally recognized speakers in the field of arthritis. Topics such as:

 

  • Mistakes most physicians make in treating arthritis!

  • Considering surgical joint replacement?  Three key questions to ask so you don’t make a deadly mistake!

  • Little-known but fail-safe exercises for protecting your bones and joints!

  • How to cut your risk of knee pain from osteoarthritis by a whopping 50 percent!

  • Hidden arthritis remedies your doctor doesn’t know about!

  • Chronic sexual fatigue… could it be fibromyalgia?

 

The Arthritis Research Institute is a non-profit organization that funds both conventional and alternative research, provides funding to arthritis patients who are unable to afford their arthritis medications, and donates scholarships to children who have been diagnosed with arthritis.  For more information, please contact Michelle L. The AOC summer cookbook is available for purchase.  It is compiled of recipes submitted from AOC patients and staff.  All proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Research Institute (ARI).  ARI works to improve the lives of those with arthritis by funding both traditional and conventional research, by providing funding to arthritis patients who are unable to afford their prescribed arthritis treatments, and by providing scholarships for children who have been diagnosed with arthritis.
